Analysis:-
This england squad is one of the best squad of all times for the country yet their performances on the pitch are disgusting... defensively the ever reliable john terry looks very much vulnerable... Steven and Frank have not been up to their high standards and David's only contribution as usual is making himself look pretty on the pitch...
Blame the weather.... blame the pitch.... blame wadeva u want but all the blame should be placed on their coach which is their weakest link... Changing the way u play in every match is surely not the way to go... players needs a few matches to learn hw to play in the system in the most effective way
Gary long ago should have been dropped and Jamie should have been the RB... Steven or Frank one of them should be bench and brought on in the latter stages as they looked shagged and sluglish and ineffective when they operate together in recent matches... Hargreaves should be starting in the DM position... and wdf is he thinking when he brought only 4 strikers(1x injured, 1x never play for country b4, 1 x injury prone nw out for 5 months, 1 x freaking tall but cannot head the ball) to the WC...

Analysis:-
The Flamboyant Portuguse are one of my fav teams as i like the way they samba on the pitch... they do not play the conventional european game but instead play a more attractive and entertaining game and are like the brasil of european football...
The absence of Deco & Costinha to suspension and maybe ronaldo to injury is a big blow to the team as they do not have much strength on the bench to replace players of their quality petit and tiago has been poor so far and hugo viana has yet to play much in this WC, simao is a ready made replacement for ronaldo thou... Their strength lies in thier coach Luiz Felipe Scolari a world cup winning coach who has beaten england twice in the last 2 WCs already...
He is a great tactician and motivator and has done it all b4... He noes hw to win big competition and always have tricks up his sleves... The difference btwn this team and the brasil team he managed that won the WC in 98 is that portugal do not have a prolific striker and goals are hard to come by... Pauleta, Postiga, Nuno Gomez are names that are unlikly to strike fear into the heart of defenders
Their most deadly weapon are their wingers as the country is blessed with many skillful wingers who can shoot and cross very well but the english are very good in the air and it might be tough to finish off those high crosses with the quality of strikers they have...
Prediction:-
The lack of firepower from both sides means that setpeices are very impt in this match and england with a particular lad called David the bylcream boy has the advantage in this department even though his club mate figo will have something to say abt that too....

Analysis:-
France group of oldies but goodies are gradually makeing their mark in this world cup after a very very very very slow start to the compeition... Many of them have not performed to the best of their abilities but their defence have kept them in this competition...
Zizou, Henry the 2 lynchpin of this france side have yet to shine apart from their last match against spain and their most impressive player in this WC is not vieria either it is winger Frank Ribery who has caught the eyes of many ppl with his penatration down th wings and is the key player to unlock the brasilian defence considering the ageing fullbacks the samba team have...
Frace however are slow and can be easily caught out by opponents who play a fast game just look @ hw korea pinned them back when they played each other... Teamwork is the only way to overcome this problem and it is what the france have in abundance...

Analysis:-
I have no problems only 23 solutions... Even Ricardinho a relatively unknown player playing in their local league is a very very good player(if u play brasil league in fm like me u will noe)... The samba kings have suddenly stopped dancing and have been woeful in this WC... In a country which have enuff players to fill 10 national team to play in the WC this is a big suprise indeed...
The magic Quarter has not been very impressive and ronaldinho the man who is expected to light up the WC has not been able to do that... Teamwork is sorely lacking for the 5 times world champions and why are they playing like "Greece" when they have such an array of talents upfront...
However their leaky defence despite getting breached for so many times has done unexpectedly well and have conceeded only 1 goal so far in this competition... With so much talent and match winners in the squad 1 individual moment of brilliance from any, some or even all of them is all they need to win the game... Speed in attacking is their forte and this is where it will hurt france the most
Prediction:-
For two teams struggling with form @ the moment whoever can score more and decides to come out and play will win this match...
