My off day!!! Woke up and saw that my room was in a mess so i decided to spend the whole day @ home slacking, doing room cleaning as well as to pack and wash my stuff to prepare myself to go for ICT...

Looking @ my army stuff after 1.5 yrs of not touching them seems weird and i was @ a lost as to what to pack... but after a while the memories came back and i was packing w/o any problems... still lack of some items though must have misplaced it and need to replace them be4 goin for ICT...

My comp went down @ nite and i was unable to use it for like 4 hrs... -_-!! it seems that my C drive crash and everything in C drive is lost luckily all my computer stuffs are all in my D drive so it is still ok... but the most irritating thing is that i lost all my words and excel files and need to redo my resume again -_-!!....

Woke up quite early todae dispite working morning shift and sleeping @ 2 the previous day but in the end left hse late and ended up rushing a bit so that i can be just in time for work todae... hmm seems like my everyday routine is to rush myself to sign in genie hmmm...

Woke up with a bit of sore throat which does not help in improving my wrking mood... Went to work seh and stoned whole day feeling sleepy in front of the computer luckily didn't fell asleep in front of the computer hahaz...

Woke up late todae and took cab to work todae haiz wasted $$$ but wad to do... Today Princess M took revenge on me and Tattoed my hand with a pen -_-!!! ... Went for lunch with the tattoes then everyone kept asking me abt them...haizz... After work went to Cuppage for sing song session with a bunch of colleagues.... total headcount for this session was 7 person some of them i went sing with them b4 some of them never...

It was a fun session full of crap and jokes... We used 3G conference to di siao ah seng and Auntie V letting them listen and watch us sing to one of their fav Ktv songs coz they need to work and can't come over to sing hahaz and towards the end 3 more colleagues including ah seng came in and made a cameo apperance...

Woke up and didn't feel like working but still have to work so i dragged myself out of bed and headed to office reluctantly... was supposed to be off but in the end kanna swap coz todae k-ster got something on need to go on off and got no perm staff working then ask me to come back clear e-mails lor...

No mood to work for the whole day but as a responsible person in the end still managed to get things done... The highlight of the day was that we were able to take a longer break and went walk walk @ wisma and taka where it is packed untill siao coz of the GSS!!! Just becoz of the discounts every shop was full of people.... the que @ C & K was amazingly long... people are queing up just to get to try shoes

I was supposed to work today but kanna swap then today my off day... last min. swap some more so wad to do? go sentosa wif Itali again lo.... But he was blardy late as usual lah still dare to call me say y nv wake him up mit mit him go sentosa 3 times 3 times also late haizzz blardy hell.... the sun went into hiding after half an hr and stayed hiden for the rest of the afternoon which was a disappointment....

After dat went walk walk @ city hall aera, bought something for V for her farewell gift and a shirt.... took some fotos @ MS where they were holding the australia fair... went for dinner then went home liaoz.... a typical uneventful day... But it was enjoyable coz of sentosa and i bought a nice shirt hahaz...

Todae marks another day Haw Par loses another person and this time is my department and my dot dot lor... She's supposed to work till end of this month but she was caught by super mario for listening to mp3 + using msn which are "illegal" activities that are banned in office...

mp3 were banned ever since dunnoe which stupid one go d/l virus then put inside server... After discovering that we still have mp3 inside our comp all mp3 are odered to be deleted from all computers in the office todae... Its a sad day for all ppl in the office no more music while doing boring jobs haizz... even listening to live radio streaming also banned coz considered using internet haizzz... No music = No mood to work....

Since cannot use msn cannot listen to music there is no life so she decided that enuff is enuff and decided to leave todae since she's only working to pass time and can afford not to work and there's only like few more days to end of the month... No more dot dot ard to call me pa liaoz... a boring place just got "boring-er"....

For a consolation, Auntie V won 1st prize(Video Recorder) for our department for the quaterly lucky draw...

I was taking the train home todae when i was hit by a siansational feeling that i haven't felt for a long time... the feeling of emptiness hit me once again... It sucks big time and totally spoils your mood and your day...

I start to feel that my lifestyle is gettin mundane although that is not the case, my variety of activities have increased (ktv, lan gamin, shopping, clubbing, movies, travelling, sun tanning, food sampling, blah blah blah) yet i feel empty.... the joy that they provide is diminishing... What is happening? i don't know...

Gone were the days where i could sleep in sch during lessons, play soccer everyday aft school, eat lunch, go home, take afternoon nap, wake up, have a simple home cooked dinner with my parents, watch tv tok cok, do a bit of hme wk, listen to radio untill 2 am, slp untill 6.45am, run to sch.... and repeat the process again and again... Its mundane and sounds boring but i had unlimited joy everyday...

To be able to do something i really like seems so hard to acheive... Simple pleasures in life is what i seek yet its not what i get...

Although i may look happy, luff, joke, lame ard and entertain many ppl everyday but i'm not happy at all.. Haw Par is a happy place to work in with lots of young crappy and lame ppl located @ every corner of the big room but my work doesn't bring me happiness @ all... Its called a place with no future and it is rightfully so...

The turnover rate of the blardy place is so high that there seems to be @ least 1 person leaving every wk...After many months of building up good wrking r/s with many of the longer staying collegues there, todae marks the begining of a big revolution.... a mass exodus of ppl are leaving... many of them have left and todae 2 more are added to the tally...

More are to follow as one by one all of them are leaving the once happy place to further their studies... the number of "strangers" in the office is already @ an all time high and is set to increase and vice verse the communication, gossiping, jokes, luffters stuffs which makes the place happy and fun is set to decrease... Going to a sad place doing boring job that brings little satisfaction? haiz dats hw empty my work life is becoming...

Changes is everywhere, happens everyday and has survived till this date since the day earth was born... Changes is the only constant and unchanged thing that ever existed and maybe it is wad i need the most now...

But what do i have to do to change my life around.... What changes should i make? of coz a job change is top priority rite now but what abt the other things in my life? hw should i change them? should i show more attitude towards things i dislike? should i learn how to be more selfish? will the changes make me feel better or worse? I donnoe.... can anyone provide me with any answers?

Looking back @ what i have acheived since i've ORD almost 2 yrs ago makes me feel worse... I've acheived exactly nothing while others have gotten their degrees and much better paying jobs then me.. but who can i blame? the only person to blame is me, myself and I...

I've many hopes and dreams since the day i ORDed but as time goes by everything seems lost... my dreams are driftin futher and futher away from me and my hopes are diminishing by the minute... Will i be as happy as be4? Will i be able to achieve what i have set out to do? I dunnoe...

All i noe is that once dreams have vanished and all hopes are lost all that remains is the helpless feeling of emptiness....

Today a bunch of irc frends turned good friends namely me, ZhU^ToU, death|, 678, and jiajia met up for a simple dinner to celebrate 678's b'dae in advance.. Its been a long time since we celebrated b'dae for anyone.. the last wan was jiajia's one last yr if i'm not wrong..

Anyway went to ah-ji-tei/ajisan @ bugis for our dinner and i brought along a cake for the occasion.. didn't take any picture of the food though coz forgot to take lor wad else...

I'm suffering from LS syndrom not lao sai but lack of sleep.... sleeping only 4 hrs a day for the last 3 days is not fun @ all.... 4 hrs may be enuff for some but not enuff for me... I need my sleep so no more late nites for me from now on!!!!

Anyway i'm looking to change the design of this blog as this is the 2005 design and its time for a 2006 edition hahaz... if you have any good suggestions pls feel free to tell me...

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 cups of coffee...

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

Went and watched the much anticipated "movie of the year" staring tom hanks today... ever since they announced that they will be making a film i have been waiting for the film to come out and my gosh the cinema was filled to the brim all the way down to the first row!!! which is something that have not happened since LOTR 3??

Anyway i shall not say too much abt the movie coz i belive almost everyone has watched the show already... for those who have yet to catch it here's something to take note of...

1) The show is 2 1/2 hrs long so go to a cinema with comfy seats(pls dun go to GV Tampines mall like i did -_-!!! sit untill butt pain)

2) Don't go and watch midnite show if ur freakin shag coz it is quite slow pace @ times (blardy hell i went for midnite show!!!)

3)Do not drink cold drinks w/o jacket unless u love living in a fridge

For those "da vinci code virgins" you may feel lost and even doze off especially if u noe nothing abt christianity

For those who are halfway through the book you will should find the show interesting and will be able to understand the book better (if you do not understand it in the first place) however the spolier is that you will know the book's ending and the twists and turns that makes the book such a nice read will no longer be that interesting anymore...

For those who have already finished the book will find that the movie follows very closely to the book even though a lot of details are missing from the movie like how come leigh walk with crutches and so on... you may also find it hard to luff @ some of the witty dialoges as you already noe what they are goin to say even before they said it...The movie may become a bit borring @ times for you so much so that you start looking ard in the dark trying to c who is sitting 5 seats away from you... (That was what i did hahaz)

One errie night, while walking home alone along a quiet and dimly lited street, you are suddenly grabbed from behind... The sauve assasin then cooly pointed a sharp parang @ ur throat and asked you in a very polite and kind manner :"Please hand over all your valuables or else..." Will you hand over your valuables? or will you retaliate to save ur $$??

This is not an IQ/personality test question or a sceen from crime watch/old movie... nor issit the topic i wanna discuss todae but it is similar to what all of us are bothered with every single day of our lifes... Your life?? or Your $$??...

death| told me he was low on morale yest and wanted to meet up wif me todae... I was thinking what a guy wif no gf, earning 2 or 3 or 4 times more $$ then me as a freaking successful financial advisor unhappy abt? So we met up @ orchard and guess what? All he wanted was to go for our male retail theraphy sessions which we have not done for quite a few monthes already and end off with a nice dinner before goin to meet his client @ nite...

The "problem" that was troubling him was that he has been working non-stop for the past 2 weeks and even though he is earning $$, he didn't have a "life". 2 weeks without goin out for a person who used to go clubbing 2 or 3 times a week is rare indead and is sapping the life out of him so much so that when he clams when he went to the office yest. his face was so black that none dared to talk to him and he is also sick of eating mixed vegetable rice almost everyday for the past 2 weeks...So we went to look look ard and ended our day by having sushi @ sakae(wheelock)...

A collegue @ office is also claiming the same thing coz everytime while we have a movie outing, she is on her way to teach tuition after work and she has yet to attend any of the movie outings so far... She claims that she got no "life" and we are having a more exciting life compared to her work work work go home work work work lifestyle even though she's earning $$ while we are losing ours...

She even took no pay leave tmr just so that she can get the "long weekend" to compansate for the "long weekend" that we did not get last week as we also have to work on PH if our shifts fall on that day... However her good friend from the office next door would rather work on PH for the 2X pay instead of having the "long weekend" Hmmm...

Humans are complicated and demanding people... the ideal situation is of coz to be jobless, have shitloads of $$ and just enjoy life but how many of us have reached that stage or will ever reach that stage?? For me i don't think i will ever reach that stage untill maybe i'm old, hagged and happily retired..

To me balancing "life" and $$ is an everyday challenge... For both to co-exist is virtually impossible... If you want life you have to sacrifice $$.. If you want $$ ur "life" have to go... It all depends on your priorities @ the moment and how you define "life"... To some people it is to visit all countries in the world for others it is to just to go out wif a few pals and catch a movie after a hard day's work...

To summerize it all your definition of "life" will determine hw much $$ u need and seriously you really dont need lots of $$ just to have a "life"... So back to the first question... what will you choose?

The Champions League is over and my fav team Arsenal have to wait for yet another year to win the elusive and the tittle of being the best team in euroupe... Barcelona have won the cup with a strong comeback in the second half and goals from etoo and belletti sealed the win for them and crowned them as european champions for the only the 2nd time in the history of the famous football club...

It was a tiring day, i stayed up to watch the match and thought that i would be able to last till the end of the match but i fell alseep at halftime and by the time i regain conciousness it was already showing the awards presentaion and i've missed the whole of 2nd half.. but being a supporter of the losing team its not too bad i guess.. Congrats to Barca and to Ronnie the man dubbed the best player in the world...

Managed to catch a few movies one of which is MI3 and other is poseidon... Below's a little review of what the 2 movies are all abt...

Poseidon

Poseidon is a movie based on a large ship which met with a titanic wave and sank on its NYE's voyage... It starts with a NYE's party and from there on its non stop action with one life treatening situation after another...

When all hopes seems lost and all doors seems to have shut.... out of nowhere a tunnel of light will appear and bring them through to safety... It shows that with knowledge, wit and determination anything is possible as long as u don't give up...

It doesn't really have a love story or a very strong storyline and its a typical action movie... If you like to watch disaster movies, expensive things get destroy, enjoy watchin ppl drown this could be a movie worth watching.. if not just watch the dvd when it comes out...

Mission Impossible 3

MI3 is bulit on the success of MI1 & 2 and if you have not catch either both movies you won't get lost in MI3 becoz the movie functions well as a stand alone movie and has very little link to the 2 earlier movies unlike other movies like Lord of The Rings or Star Wars...

Basically i'm a bit disappointed by this movie as i expected more from this franchise.. Apart from some new gadgets and quite a few breath taking scenes there isn't any surprises or new things abt this movie that we haven't seen before... But i have to admit that blowing up a lamborgini in a place like Vatican City was cool though...

Overall an enjoyable movie although it could be better in terms of creativity.. go catch it on a weekday if you must as it isn't worth the $9.50 in my opinion.... Of coz if u r a Tom Cruise/MI fan or if you like to inject some action into your boring life this would be a great movie for you
